Edit HD video
Working with video from cameras such as the Sony HDR-HC 1 can result in serious business. HD video offers four times the number of pixels that offers standard definition and much more compressed.
Remember, you need to have a powerful PC with more memory for additional data and compression. Pinnacle example recommends at least 512 MB RAM and video card with 128 MB of RAM for standard definition video, but this goes up gigabytes of RAM and 256 MB graphics card with 1080i HD video.
Find a lot of software, the high-definition video editing support. For example, the latest version of Pinnacle Studio, Ulead Media Studio 8 can import and editing HDV format files.
Even if high definition video with these types of looks well played on an HDTV, currently, there is no way to store HD video on DVD. Only so can keep HD video for playback on your computer, or type of media used in your HD camcorder.
However, there is a new generation of optical media def soon. Products based on HD-DVD and Blu-ray disc formats are very expensive and will remain so in the near future.
HD DVD players were announced some time ago, to $500 costs and and will be available very soon. Need a new HD DVD disc, that the same again cost will be. Expect the same story with Blu-ray drive as registrars and players are too expensive for some time to come.
There is another option as well. It’s a DVD player with KISS DP 600 that can play files compressed in high-definition Windows Media 9 format. This at least is a stop gap until prices on HD DVD and Blu-ray disc players and writes down at an affordable price.
You can always play the recorded video, you have a video camera, although you should not expect, write it on the hard drive with your current equipment and its quality to maintain to. If you wait it out, next generation media will all be to your HD video.
